Your Upstream Resource

ETX Upstream is powering the Energy Transition with its proven upstream playbook and LandCommand Platform.

About

Following a successful exit with Macquarie Asset Management, ETX Upstream was spun out of Galehead Development by Galehead's founders to respond to emergent Energy Transition market opportunities (read the press release).

ETX was stood up with a tenured and cohesive team, the LandCommand Platform, and a portfolio of development assets and active engagements incubated under Galehead's R&D business unit. ETX is focused initially on providing power solutions for industrial load customers, land diligence and finance for Energy Transition infrastructure, and transmission development.

River

ETX Upstream invests in, develops and manages assets across three Energy Transition strategies:

Load

Providing power solutions and accelerating “time-to-power” for high-growth C&I load customers and market resources.

Land

Specialized capabilities and financing to plan and underwrite development-stage land investments for Energy Transition projects.

Transmission

Developing the infrastructure connectivity between load and power, feedstocks and off-take, and producers and end-users.

ETX Upstream has a rich track record of collaboration and joint development arrangements.

Investment

ETX is invested in a portfolio of Energy Transition start-ups, projects and development assets.

Project Siting

Proven methods and technology to avoid dry holes and reliably convert greenfield sites, including “white label” licensing of the LandCommand Platform.

Land Acquisition

Specialized capabilities and financing to plan and underwrite development-stage land investments for Energy Transition projects.

Power Solutions

Scalable power development is in our DNA. ETX is developing non-grid power solutions for high-growth load customers that require reliable “time to power.”

Utility and EDA Partnerships

ETX is partnered with utilities and EDAs to finance and develop projects aligned with their planning and community priorities.

LandCommand Platform

Deep market and land analytics combined with search functionality make LandCommand an unparalleled tool for fast, accurate and scalable greenfield project siting and development. Through ETX, LandCommand will expand its reach beyond core renewables to support the deployment of emergent Energy Transition technologies, projects and infrastructure.

Incubated by the ETX founders as a proprietary differentiator for launching and scaling Galehead Development, LandCommand successfully sited over 25 GW of renewable energy projects now operating, under construction, under active development by Galehead’s downstream partners, or under control by Galehead (following the ETX spin-out, Galehead remains a LandCommand licensee).
